I love my new job. It's a non-profit agency that helps people deal with sexual assault. It's a hard place to work because you have so many great people coming in and you know why they are here, but it makes it so worthwhile just knowing that we are helping and we can make a difference in their lives. We have amazing people that work here, and I absolutely love it here. WOOT Office Manager in the house.
This is a blog about random things. It could be about things that make me laugh, cry, smile, feel loved, people I love, things I like, funny stories, inspiration, weddings, cats, anything!

I dislike rental communities
Boardwalk rental communities (where we happen to live) has this RETARDED rule where they allow pets, BUT you have to pay a non-refundable fee of $250 PER PET! WTF?! So I was freaking out cause obv. me and Josh are not wasting $500 for no reason, and the landlords were doing the yearly suite inspection....SHIT. Finally, after hours of searching for something to do with them, one of our friends here said that he would keep them for the day. I had to hide my poor babies like fucking Anne Frank. Zero is still having trouble breathing, so I felt really bad leaving her in a strange place, but it's better than having them locked in your van with a space heater when it's -20 outside (Josh's idea...lol). So thanks to Steve, they had a nice warm place to stay for the day.

I Phone
it's also kind of hot that I can update my blog via my phone. I LOVE IT. Cause you always see/hear/do funny things through out the day and you always say to yourself "oh I can't wait to tell this person what happened today". Then you get home and you don't remember. Or don't have a picture. Now this makes it all better. Hurrah!
1st Blog
I'm kind of excited to have started a blog. It's been a long time since I wrote anything, mostly because I just had too much shit and it was way too personal. HURRAY FOR NEW BEGINNINGS! I feel a lot better since I moved to a new place (Red Deer, Alberta) and got a new job (Office Manager at the Crisis Centre) and started a new school (Athabasca). Lots of new beginnings. Sometimes it's kind of scary, but I think that since I have done it so many times in my life I'm not as intimidated as I used to be. HA! Take that intimidation. My poor kitty has been having an asthma episode this whole weekend, I can't take her to the vet until I get her records from the vet in London. They are being painfully slow. Poor Zero (Calico on the right)! I love you too, Cosmo(other furbaby)!
