Things to buy for the wedding.
There are plenty of things that we need to buy or save money for before we get married. I just thought I would share a few of those, not for any other reason so that I don't forget what I have to buy cause I have a terrible memory.
- Olympus E-620. http://www.olympuscanada.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1452 It's a digital SLR from Olympus. BEAUTIFUL! Comes with 6 art filters, which is great because when you are trying to make cool pictures but don't know how the hell to use photoshop... then it makes my life WAY easier.
- The Dress. It's absolutely gorgeous! I can' wait to see how it looks on. http://www.alfredangelo.com/Collections/ProductDisplay.aspx?productID=1796a142-d4c0-4e7f-8829-bc0213df001b&categoryID=54246401-6ad2-4745-894e-d0dc006d72c8&pg=2 Hopefully it looks as nice on me as it does on her.
- Guest Book. http://www.adessoalbums.com/begin-now-kit-for-polaroids.html I thought this would be the perfect thing for a guest book because it's fun and different.
- 1 - Adesso Instant Photo Guestbook for Polaroids®
- Holds 30 Polaroid photos in archival (acid and lignen free) pages which mat out the white border of the Polaroid
- Accommodates up to 75 guests (think couples and groups)
- Covered in custom dyed Japanese fabric
- 8" x 10" x 1.5"
- 3" x 3" die cut opening in the cover to slide a photo in
- Album opens perfectly flat to write in it and closes perfectly flat when filled with photos
- 1 – Polaroid Job Pro 600 Camera
- 4 – Polaroid 600 Single Pack (40 exposures)
- Earings. http://www.swarovski.com/Web_CA/en/995370/product/Chandelier_Pierced_Earrings.html?CatalogCategoryName=0110 These are hot
- Rings. Mine is very cute and girly. Josh's is very plain, bu that's the only kind of thing that he'll wear. I really love these rings though, it's too bad we can't afford to go Platinum with them though.
- Wedding box. I need one of these to carry my dress and possibly Josh's tux.. if it fits... haha. Just kidding. That way in case anything happens to my luggage, nothing can happen to the wedding dress because it will be my carry on item.

AAAAAHHHHHH
Ok, so I'm going insane because I have so much shit on my plate right now. Mind you it's my own fault because I usually feel like I have to stretch myself so thin. I'm in 3 classes in school because if I'm in any less I have to start paying back my student loan to OSAP. LAME. So I'm in 3 classes to delay the process until I'm finished in school. Work is great, but training is leaving me exhausted and with no time to do anything. Thankfully that's finished this week! I am also going to the gym as much as possible, trying to volunteer around Red Deer, and trying to plan my wedding. I feel like I'm really neglecting Josh and I feel so bad about it. I barely have time for myself, which can't really be good either. I'm to the point where pretty much everyone annoys me. kind of very bad, right? I just think that shutting myself out from everyone else is my way of coping with stress or fatigue because normally I handle those things pretty well. I mean I really don't care what other people think of it, because the only ones I really care about how I am effecting is my finacee and my mom and the rest of our family. Everyone has shitty times, I think particularly now with all of the negative energy in the world at the present moment. It's kind of sad actually, to hear how so many people are so depressed and desperate. I thank whatever the higher "power" may be that Josh and I are going to be ok, at least for now with our jobs still existing. I don't know what some people are going to do, or how some people do it! My world would be crashing right now if I ever had to deal with something so devistating as loosing your life's savings or your job, family, car, home, etc. There are so many people to help, how can the government or their families help them all? I guess all that I can say is that I hope that better times are coming very soon and the best of luck. Hopefully, everyone including myself can get back on their feet.

How I Met Your Mother
I can not believe how funny this show is. It friggin kills me all the time. BTW Neil Patrick Harris is LEGENDARY. Jason Segel has made some great movies recently, and I think he's pretty funny as well. If I ever met someone who slept in a suit pajama, I would want them to be my best friend forever.
"Ok, fine we can go lick the Liberty Bell. Do you know what it tastes like? Freedom. Actually no, it tastes like pennies."
I love how every episode is a story of how he meets someone else and the poor kids think that it's their mom, but it never is. BWAHAHA how mean. I like it.
WATCH THIS SHOW. The End!!

Things I learned at work today...
I had training after my loooong day at work today. 10 hour days are killing me. Either way, I set up for the Teen and Young Adult Sexual Health Clinic and the Aids Network Society to come in and talk to the new volunteers (including myself as this is my first time through the training too.. new office manager has to be there). Am I ever glad I heard what these ladies had to say. The numbers are quite shocking, and there were things that I knew and things I didn't know. I knew that there was no cure for HIV, but I thought that the "cocktail" as some refer to it, stopped the process of HIV from spreading any further in the immune system and stopped it from attacking any more of our CD4 cells (our little immune system army). Not correct. The cocktail only slows down the process, but does not stop it in it's track. Therefore it expands the length of time that a person can live without becoming diagnosed with AIDS. I also learned that in Alberta, every week there are 4 new people that get HIV. 50% being women and 50% being men. That is a very shocking rate, and I think the only reason that it's so high is because people don't even know that they have it. You can go for 10 years without even showing any symptoms. If there's no symptoms people seem to think that there is no reason to be tested. I can not emphasis this enough... PEOPLE, IF YOU HAVE HAD SEX...... GET TESTED. Regardless of the fact that if you are protected you might never get anything, but some STI's are transmitted by kissing someone on the lips (one type of Herpes is spread like this). You can also get HIV by brushing your teeth before you have oral sex with an infected person. PROTECT YOURSELF. I also can't believe the catholic church in Canada is so against children in school/people in general getting the new Gardisil vaccine. If it can PREVENT the 2 main types of HPV that cause 70 % of cervical cancers, why wouldn't you want to do anything to protect people from that. They try to use the excuse that it will be like advocating pre-marital sex, but who gives a shit when it could in turn save their lives one day. GGGRRR people are so closed minded sometimes, but I suppose it's not their fault when that is what they believe.
